BC Children’s & Women’s Hospital Heliport, Vancouver, BC – Detail design and construction consultation for a heliport upgrade, including grading, Final Approach and Take-Off marking, flight path directional arrow, and new lighting system.
East Kootenay Regional Hospital Heliport, Cranbrook BC – Provided detail design for a new flight path. Scope included tree removals, parking lot redesign and small retaining wall.
Vancouver General Hospital Heliport, BC – Conducted a risk assessment associated with the installation of a construction crane within the heliport flight path.
Tofino General Hospital Heliport, BC – Conducted a site assessment for the upgrade of the heliport in order to meet the physical and operational requirements under CAR 325 and 305.
Penticton Regional Hospital, BC – Conduct a site assessment and prepared a functional design report for the construction of a new elevated heliport associated with new hospital development.
Campbell River & District Regional and Comox Valley Hospitals, BC - Conduct a site assessment and prepare functional design report for the construction of an new elevated heliport associated with new hospital development.
Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital, AB – GroundEffect completed a Heliport Operations Manual and Heliport Manager training session.
Brooks and Bassano Hospital Heliports, AB – GroundEffect conducted site assessments to identify any non-conforming physical and operational items associated with the heliports.
Private Heliports, AB– Conduct site assessments of five separate locations to identify heliport flight paths, and define the upgrades appropriate for registration.
Grande Prairie Hospital, Shields Health Location, AB - Conduct a site assessment and prepare functional design report for the construction of a new heliport associated with new hospital development.
Invermere & District Hospital Heliport, BC – Prepare preliminary and detail design drawings for the reconstruction of the heliport. Scope of work includes, grading, fencing, concrete TLOF surface, fencing, markings and signage.
Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK - Conducted a site assessment and prepared functional design report for the construction of a new elevated heliport associated with new hospital development. Future work will include assistance to the design team in regard to structural, mechanical and electrical components of an elevated heliport project.
